AC Inspire Heat Guidelines
AC Inspire uses the US Soccer’s Recognize to Recover program as the basis for our heat guidelines.
Dealing With Extreme Heat
AC Inspire strives to make sure our players safety is a top priority. We will:

Actively monitor heat temperatures to prevent heat related illnesses

Increase the number and duration of hydration breaks

Shorten practice/reduce intensity of exercises

Postponing practice/competition until cooler parts of the day

Educate staff on the signs and symptoms of heat related
illness and early management
Determining when to Cancel or Postpone
The AC Inspire Board will use the following chart as a strong guideline for deciding when it is safe to practice. This chart is in accordance with the Recognize to Recover Guidelines:
